meet our muses.

Along with my love of magazines, I love getting ideas from catalogues.
I can only really afford to shop in J. Crew's sale section (sorry, but $79 for jeans cutoffs? Two words: thrift store.) But I do get lots of ideas (and accessories on sale!) from their store and catalogue.
I love to use both home and clothes catalogues for ideas, then try to recreate those ideas with things I already own.

A few of my favorites:
and where would we be without...
Get on and request a few catalogues, and let me know what ideas you come up with!

ah, a girl after my own heart ~ catalogues, magazines, ideas, IKEA, IKEA, IKEA.

It sounds old-fashioned, I know, but I have really began to appreciate Country Living and Better Homes & Gardens. As other magazines have bitten the dust, they have picked up many of those magazines' attributes and made their magazines more creative & current. (And I also like Real Simple). I am all about doing new things with what I already own too :). Yay us!

Hey Jenny- just found your blog! You should order the Boden catalog- they have some fun clothes. (I like their fall clothes best) www.bodenusa.com

Also... other mags I'm addicted to are Dwell, Living Etc (British home mag), Domino (RIP), and Readymade.

(this is the short list...)
