welcome to the coachhouse.

Hi there! Ready for a tour of the coachhouse? We'll start with the hallway...
Outside my front door, there's track lighting and lots of wall space. So perfect for the stacks of collages in my apartment...

Love my borrowed-from-my-sister-in-England coat rack. The picture on the right is an oval canvas I painted pink and covered with paper from Paper Source. So easy and cheap.
Baskets from Poland (and from Ikea!) on top of my extra-stuff-shelf. We (read: my mom) hung a curtain on a tension rod to cover up said stuff.
I've always wanted to be one of those Martha Stewart-types with labeled containers of extra things like lightbulbs and paper towels. Mission accomplished!
Shoes! So, why, you might be wondering, are there wine bottles next to my boots? I got this idea from my mom: instead of buying expensive boot trees, use empty wine bottles! It may look like I'm an alcoholic every time I have my boots on and the wine bottles by the front door, but hey: it's free and it keeps my boots from slouching.
Welcome to the 2nd floor...
I change which collages are hanging out here periodically...
Come back tomorrow for a tour of the kitchen! :)
